Co-Founder & CEO
In addition to being co-founder and CEO, Shirley is a coach and mentor and runs strategic projects. She has extensive people management experience across various industries. This provided insights to human behaviour, which resulted in continuous personal counselling to her clients. Her generalist management experience encompasses Housing, Training, Mail Order and Life Assurance in a leadership position, which included all aspects of the foundations of management, functional and integrated at an operational and strategic level.
She moved into IT at Old Mutual for some years, then subsequently specialist IT recruitment for more than a decade. She has undergone a wide range of training across the people management spectrum that has been topped with an Oxford Brookes MBA. Further activities included the role as Vice Chairperson of the property investment company “Women of Substance” and director of SWEL, a women’s group in the property market.
Co-founder & Financial Director
Deborah manages all the financial aspects of the business and the day-to-day operational functions. Deborah’s career started in the retail industry, moving to manufacturing and frozen foods. Her operational role across various industries equipped her with the necessary knowledge and skills and subsequently ventured into the world of entrepreneurship. This spanned informal trading, carpet and upholstery cleaning business, simultaneously developing the leadership skills required.
Further change included a move to the property market, qualified herself as an Estate Agent and stayed in that industry for a number of years. She then went into business in Bond origination as the Operations Manager.
She is an animal lover, enjoys outdoors, brings the wonderful nurturing and stabilising quality to our otherwise busy days and at the same time, provides the rational and logical substance, keeping all the threads together.
